An exciting children’s book, Frank the Chair Visits Kansas, was published on October 1, 2015, and promises to be a delightful literary treat for both young and old. Published by the creative author team of Aaron and Jessica Freeman of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and illustrated by the talented Lindsay Ryden, the captivating story will capture the reader’s heart and imagination.
While Frank the Chair has been going on adventures since January 2014, this new children’s book was written and created in honor of the late Rita Shogren. Rita, mother to Jessica, was a grade school librarian in southwest Kansas for over 20 years, and killed in a car accident in December 2014.
Readers can follow the adventures of Frank the Chair, the endearing main character, as he serves children across many generations and teaches them about life, love, joy, and sadness.
